Whatsapp Launched the feature that gives information about suspicious links in beta version 2.18.204 of Android. This feature of Whatsapp was still working for a few beta users. According to Knowledge, the company has started rolling out this feature to all users of the Android Beta version 2.18.221. Please note that this feature detecting suspicious links is not yet available for iOS and Windows users. But it is believed that in future it can be started soon.
It is being said that whenever anyone will send you a link in Beta version 2.18.221 of Android and if the link is suspicious, then WhatSapp will put a suspicious link tag on it. This update of Whatsapp warns users before opening the 'Suspicious Link'. If they still try to open the link then whatsapp will alert and users will see two options - link open and go back.
