1.) To open an account in the Paytm Payment bank, you must have a Paytm account.
2.) It is important to have KYC Complete in your Paytm account. (If KYC is not in your Paytm account, then when you open an account in the Paytm Payment bank, you will be asked to do KYC.)
3.) You must have Email ID Verify in your Paytm account.
How to open an account in Paytm Payment Bank?
1.) To open the Paytm Payment bank account, first open the Paytm app.
2.) After that, you will get an option in the name of "Bank" on the right side of the Paytm app, click on it.
3.) Then there will be an option named "Open Your Savings Account" in the next step, click on it.
4.) After that you will be asked to put a Paytm Passcode, then you enter the 4 numbers Passcode. (You should remember the passcode of these 4 numbers well or write down and write on any of these passcode as it is going to be forwarded to you.)
5.) In the next step you will be asked to add Nominee for your Paytm Payment bank account. If you want to add Nominee to your account, then click on "I want to add a nominee now" option and if you do not want to add Nominee for your account then click on "I do not want to add a nominee" option.
6.) Then click on the "Proceed" option.
7.) After that if you have already completed KYC in your Paytm account, the details of your card card will be automatically verified and if you have not completed KYC in your Paytm account, you will be asked to complete KYC.
8.) After completing KYC, your Paytm Payment bank account will be opened and if you are already doing KYC, your Paytm Payment bank account will be opened as soon as the details of your Aadhaar card are validated.
Once the Paytm Payment bank account is opened, an SMS will be sent to your mobile number. In which your name, Paytm Digital Debit Card Number, Paytm Payment Bank Account Number etc. will be sent. In addition, an email will be sent to your email ID as well.
